YET MORE RINGS YIPPEE!!!

Here are the last of the current crop of rings finally finished, photographed & uploaded for your viewing pleasure! lol

I just love sparkly things :)  Apart from anything else they're very Christmassy, sparkly & tinselly.

As with all my previous rings in this range, these ones are also $15 +p&p to Aussie addresses. If you live overseas I'll give you a quote to send to your address. And if you buy more items I will give a good discount.  :)   please email me here  clissat@gmail.com

Now a little bit of house keeping:-  I have heard that some people feel uncomfortable sending contact to my email address. Please go right ahead & use it. That's what I put it here for. The 'Contact Me' form that Blogger wants me to use in my blog doesn't work properly or hardly ever works at all. So please just click on the email address or copy it to your email browser page.

The other thing is regarding the business of paypal or direct debit as forms of payment. I don't have a paypal button because I haven't been able to properly understand the way paypal wants each item to have a unique code for payment. I'm finding that a bit overwhelming so far. So I ask if you can just email me & tell me which items you'd like to buy & I'll respond asap to your email.

If you are concerned that I may not be a real person or not genuine please have a look through my youtube channel which is linked into all my blogs & you will see me working with horses or modelling scarves & other stuff. I give lessons & train horses as well.

I also have a market stall occasionally at either Pomona Country Markets, or at one of 3 venues in Cooroy or in the new year I'll be at other markets which I'll post about when the time is closer. All in SE Qld Australia.

So I hope I have dispelled any concerns some readers might have regarding my authenticity. :)

I try to keep the price of my unique crafts & art as realistic as possible. Some people have told me I sell myself short & I could be getting a lot more for my wares but I would rather see more people wearing them.

Have a Good Day

:)

First of New Season Goodies, Yippie!!

Summer 2013-2014 Hairbands & RINGS

all my handmade individually designed Hairbands $17 each  incl p&p in Australia. paypal or direct deposit.

Here is the link to a youtube video I just loaded showing my new hairbands for summer 2013-2014

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfgV9SI9u64

My rings are individually handmade, adjustable, all unique designs,  $15eac plus p&p.

Here is the link to the video for my handmade glass domed magnified rings.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To0LrMOwYMY

I am slowly re-organising this whole blog so things might be a bit haphazard for a while, while I get rid of all the bad links & replace them with new photos.

EMAIL CONTACT FOR ORDERING
The email contact form in the right hand column doesn't seem to want to work even though I have done what Blogger suggested I do to get it working, so please just use this address to email me, thanks.  clissat@gmail.com

HAIRBANDS
If you are interested in any of the hairbands in the video, please note the name of the individual hairband as shown in the video & email me using the form in the right hand column. Include the firm measurement around you hairline (from behind your neck, up over your forehead & back down the other side infront of your ears.) I make each design in 3 sizes if I can. So hopefully I will have one to fit you. If not I will make one. I don't make that identical design again so everyone has a unique hairband.

Here is a photos showing just a few of my handmade hairbands on my market stall.

RINGS
I have sold quite a few rings already, even before loading the photos to this blog. :) people love them!
So if you like one or more please don't wait to order. I do some weekend markets & I tend to sell several there each time. It would be sad if you missed out! Most of the rings are $15 each plus p&p. A few are less because I made a mistake which I can see but probably no-one else will see. But I know it is there so those are cheaper.

Here is a list of the cheaper rings:- #7; #32; #13; #42; #43; #45;  These ones are $9 +p&p. You can either view the youtube video or watch the slideshow in the right hand column to see the number of each ring. Each photo shows the ring with it's individual number.

Here is a photo of just some of my handmade rings on my market stall. There are many more in the video.

GOOGLE PHOTOS grrrrr!

Google Photos has changed it's site & the links to my photos have all been broken!
I will progressively upload them all again to another online album & repost.

It is VERY annoying to have those grey circles instead of lovely colourful bracelets & other photos. }:^/

Thankyou for your patience while I find the time to fix this.  :)

Taa Daaa.............................................................................  :)

Such a simple thing, so long in the creation!

Well if I had more time to devote to making these lovely little trinkets there would be many more. ;)

It's a simple single stretchy row of assorted glass & metal beads that can be layered up with your other favourite bracelets or bangles or buy several of this one style & create a wide rainbow on your wrist.

It will fit most wrists, on some people it will fit more snuggly than on other people.

This bracelet is $15 for 1, $24 for 2 or $33 for 3 incl p&p in Australia. You can contact me using the email contact form in the right hand margin or just email clissat@gmail.com . I accept paypal or bank transfer.

My Beaded Scarf Rings 2 youtube videos

I recently got around to making 2 videos that are on youtube showing all my beaded scarf rings & how to tie several knots in all sorts of scarves from light silk to heavy woollen scarves to sarongs.

There is also included a knot for tying a headband. I'm going to take it down as soon as I get my mannequin head model because my face is NOT photogenic!! ;)   :D

And yet more!

Well yes I have been busy lately creating these lovely numbers from my never ending ideas.

When I found these red coral stones I just knew they needed black leather & silver to set them off. Using these lovely stones I have made a necklace & bracelet set & could possibly add a pair of earrings if needed. This bracelet made with Tibetan silver as shown in the photo is $89 incl p&p in Australia.

Orange is my favourite colour. I have layered braided & plain strings of faux leather then adorned it with orange stones, itty bitty orange glass beads, silver beads & ribbon. This bracelet & necklace set made with Tibetan silver as shown in the photo is $79 incl p&p in Australia.

As yet I haven't made a necklace to match this bracelet but it's something I could do if requested. It's faux leather knotted with handmade glass beads, gold chain & brass beads. This bracelet is $39 incl p&p in Australia.

This necklace is made from interesting mottled lilac & purple stone beads. It's 80cm long & open ended with the silver chain & hooks forming the closure process. It can be configured into a variety of styles including a loose single or double wrap around the neck to a smaller triple wrap, or with different layered loops at the front. This configuration is only limited by your imagination! It has a lovey set of little matching earrings with 925 grade silver hardware. This necklace & earring set is $89 incl p&p in Australia.

All the above jewellery is made to order. I make each individually & no 2 are completely alike. So if you order one but don't want the one in the photo (if it is still available), yours will be just slightly different. You may be able to order that style in a different colour if I know the beads are available.

Use the 'contact Me' form in the right hand margin to contact me of just email clissat@gmail.com . I prefer paypal.

Taa Daa!! Finished Wristbands :)

Here are the finished bracelets wristbands from the last post.

update 28July2013....I have decided these are more like wristbands than bracelets. So from this date onwards I will refer to them as writsbands.  But I'm not going right through all my posts to change what I have already written.  ;)

These are the 3 cowhide bracelets I was working on in the last post. Two are buttoned up with a choice of 2 button holes for loose or firm fit. The Blue Glass & Cowhide bracelet does up with a silver lobster clip.

This first one has 2 types of blue glass beads with satin ribbon & lovely little lilac beads & silver chain. The big oval bead has  sensual smoothness to it. This bracelet is $45 incl p&p in Australia.

This little Lilac bead & cowhide bracelet is much more dainty than the other 2 with it's row of little lilac beads around the top & some light silver chain dangling down. This bracelet is $45 incl p&p in Australia.

The black & white cowhide bracelet has Swarovski crystals dangling all around it. This bracelet is $69 incl p&p in Australia.

New 2013 Bracelet Range! Wonders Will Never Cease!!

After having a fit of creativity.....well actually, after being bored of not getting creative.... I have been inspired to create a new range of bracelets for 2013. As usual I have tried to make them unique yet close to what is on trend & keep them in a moderate price range so everyone can wear something no-one else has. Each individual bracelet that is ordered from within each design style will be made slightly differently so no 2 are quite the same (unless you really do want that exact design in which case you & I will share an exact same bracelet design because I wear the sample bracelets!).

There are just a few as yet but more in my mind just needing time to do them. It takes a whole day to design & produce the first one & get it right. Then I wear it for a few hours to be sure it will work.

They will all be around $45 including postage within Australia. Overseas people should email me for a quote to their post/zip code. Paypal is my preferred payment option. As usual my email is  clissat@gmail.com

So here are the new bracelets.

This one is for the fems who want to show their rainbow status (butch version coming soon). It is secured with an easy use lobster clip that can be clipped into either of two links for wrist size adjustment. This bracelet is $45 incl p&p in Australia.

Lovely pastel blue satin ribbon with blue glass beads, a hint of bright purple beads in between & cow hide with silver chain & lobster clip closure that is adjustable. This bracelet is $45 incl p&p in Australia.

With orange being my favourite colour it is no wonder I already covert this bracelet!
This one is braided faux leather with orange ribbon, orange glass beads & stones. It is secured by the stone & loop with 2 wrist size possibilities. Since making this blog post I have teamed it with a similar necklace. See the more recent post for more photos & price.

Rather refined purple glass, brass & yellow glass beads with gold chain & faux leather thonging. See the price of this bracelet in a more recent post.

This is a delicate girls or lady's bracelet of purple satin ribbon braid with lovely purple & green beads along with silver & hot pink chains. The clip can be placed in either of 2 links for variations to wrist size. This bracelet is $45 incl p&p in Australia.

And last but by no means least are these little babies just being hatched this week!

These are still in the design stage with parts on order.

I've got 5 more designs in mind including tan or dark brown leather braids with rows of dark glass & Swarovski beads; rumbled dark red glass beads with hemp twine & satin braid; aqua leather thonging & braids with dark brown wooden beads & gold chain; black Swarovski beads with silver chain or gold chain; cow hide with rainbow braid butch version. A few others are lingering on the sidelines as well!

So watch this site over the next few weeks for more photos.  :)

Scarf Rings photos finally!

"All good things come to those who wait " as the saying goes! But 5mths is probably too long really.

I'm talking about posting the photos of my scarf rings here in this blog. So finally here they are!

They are all made stretchy from a variety of handmade, metal, glass & hard plastic beads along with some Swarovski crystal beads & come in 3 sizes, small (3cm hole), medium (5cm hole), large (6cm). They will stretch to almost twice this size. The large ones will suit all those lovely thick woolly scarves, the medium ones will suit the smaller winter scarves along with larger cotton or silk type summer scarves or sarongs, while the small ones will only fit on silk or the finer type summer cotton scarves or bandanas.

History of the Scarf Ring.

These scarf rings are all taken from an 18-1900's Spanish design for a hair adornment that was used to tie a bundle of the long voluptuous wavey black trusses most Spanish women had into a good sized loose bun at the back or top of their head. Much like using a rubber or elastic band only much more beautifully designed. The beads were mostly glass although metal was also used. Cheaper versions were made of papier mache or clay & painted bright colours.

So they can also be used for holding long hair in a bun. However due to the weight of some of them they would best suit hair that was quite wavey & springy & not too slippery.

Knots to use with them.

There are several knots that can be used to tie your scarf & use your scarf ring so I will try to make a short video to show these knots. The small scarf rings are $15each incl postage in Australia & the medium & large scarf rings are $30each including postage. This cost is for postage within Australia. Please contact me for postage costs to other countries.

Here is the link to the album containing larger sized photos of all the current scarf rings I have.

See all the scarf rings in the slideshow playing in the right side panel of this blog.

Update as at Dec2013 most of these are sold but if you like one you see here I can make one similar although it won't be identical. Please email me clissat@gmail.com

Here are photos of just a few of the scarf rings:-

This is what has been taking all my time & attention!

One of my horses, Sonny, developed bad feet from 2.5yrs of never ending wet season & it came to a head earlier this year. Founder rehab is not to be taken lightly! It has taken all my time, energy & $'s along with generous support from a couple of other people. But things are going really well now. Even my body is recovering somewhat which is just as well because without my capacity to look after Sonny he would not get better.

There were those who said it couldn't be done. All I can say is never tell me I can't do something! I love proving 'experts' wrong! :-D  Mind you, there is still a long way to go even before he is ready to be ridden again. Good progress should be taken slowly.

If you are interested in founder rehab & want to see how it can work (without all the expensive bells & whistles) go here:-

I'm still here!

Oh dear it's equinox day 21st June 2012  & first post on this blog for this year.

I will be uploading some scarf ring photos very soon..... yes I know.... I said that months ago too! lol

However I dropped my camera & am finding it hard tracking down a suitable replacement. Hopefully one coming this week! pigs might fly too  ha ha ha

As the saying goes .... 'all good things come to those who wait' ......apparently!!  ;-))

Tuesday, November 29, 2011

Well it's almost December & not enough has changed ;-))

Still have hoof problems with the horses, weight still too high & not enough time for everything!

However I have been making some scarf rings to match bracelets & I will put up some photos soon....hopefully....;-)))

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

So it's late July now & still things have not changed much.

Horses feet are a little better thanks to almost 2mths of dry weather for a change.

Garden is growing well but many vegies failed so it's a very bland assortment of edibles.

Bracelets have not had a look-in which is a worry, other than doing a few weekend markets when I had time or it wasn't bucketing down. Still have plans for some new designs but haven't got any further in that department.

Weight has been steady around 90kgs. Not good but not bad either.

Lots of room for improvement all round it seems!  [:$

Where does the time fly too? lol

My goodness I turned around & it was next year! 2011 already! & not only that but it's now bearing down on 1/3 the way through this new year!!

My bracelets have been on hold while I devote time to horses with wet feet & a garden that got drowned & weight that crept back on without my knowledge! lol The garden has been replanted, the horses feet are still a bother, & the bracelets might get a look-in soon! (I've had an idea for them which I am still working on in my head.)

There are photos of the new vegie garden on the Garden page, horse photos on the Horses page & a post about my weight on the Diet page.

I'm still here!

When I decided to make this blog I figured there would always be time for just a few lines a week!

Oh boy how wrong I was!! lol

Anyway I am still here & working away at my bracelets & horses & vegie garden. :-)

Buckskin & Palomino Horse Coloured Bracelets

These 2 new bracelets have been the hardest to work out the colours for & to find the right beads. I have used a combo of semi-precious beads, vintage beads, silver charms, freshwater pearls.

This palomino bracelet above has lots of 'bling' on it to represent the showiness of the colour & the horse. This bracelet is $45 posted to Australia. All my horse colour bracelets arev$45 posted. If you are from other countries I will need to check conversion & postage rates.

The buckskin bracelet below was a real challenge because I wanted to show the barring that they must have at least on their legs & the dorsal stripe too. Finally I found some vintage beads that were just the right colour. I love the little pegassus charms I found. This bracelet is $45 posted to Australia.
The easiest way to pay me is by PayPal to my email address. Use the 'Contact Me' form in the right hand margin for more info.

Several people have ordered bracelets & emailed comments about them. So here are some of those comments pasted out of their emails.

Amanda said they were 'precious little gems' & she adores her amathyst bracelet.
Jen2 ordered one of the rainbow series & wanted a matching memory wire twin loop as a present for her girlfriend. I'm sure she'll be thrilled.
Karli is from USA & couldn't wait for her palomino bracelet to show it off to her horse loving friends because it is such a unique piece.
Codi wanted a set similar to the Autumn series 5&6 for himself & his girlfriend. Her's has pegusus charms on it & his is plain. I suspect it was his g/f who left the link to my blog on his desktop! lol
Shay asked for a pair of beach series for her grandchildren, each made alittle differently so they would know who's was whose. The littlebracelets looked so cute in their little voile presentation bags.
Catsacalling couldn't wait for her grey horse bracelet to arrive as it's a wedding gift to be worn with the dress which is steel grey voile with handmade silver thread lace. They're going to send me a photo! :-)
A lady ordered one of the Autumn series memory wire bracelets because her online name is ....Autumn! She said it represented everything she wanted herself to be. I'm glad to have helped her. :-)

My Latest Bracelets:- Horse Colours, Rainbow & Autumn Series

Click this link to see all my bracelets:- http://picasaweb.google.com/102630297130321540784/WebsiteBlogPhotos

I've been planning these Horse Coloured bracelets for several weeks & have had to wait for the air to clear (so to speak!  lol) Actually I've had to wait for the volcano ash to clear the sky so the planes can fly again & the freight can get moved around the world.

I have accessed really interesting beads, swarovski crystals, semi precious stones like topaz, amber, aventurine, agate, turquoise, garnet, tibetan silver, silver charms of pegasus, frolicking foal, rearing yearling, arab mare & foal & other lovelies.

Here are the first few made on memory wire. I will be making more in various styles like the stretchy bracelets & multi strand soft style.

The horse colour bracelets are all $45each posted to Australia. For other countries I will have to work out the right conversion price. The same need to work out a conversion price applies to all my costume jewellery items.

Please use the 'Contact Me' form in the right hand margin to ask any questions.

I have made them as close as I can to the basic colours of horses, bay, chestnut, brown, with the grey, black, palomino with appaloosa to come soon. I will even try to create a paint version if it looks ok. Also I might be able to make up a different colour as a special order.

I've also finished some more of my Rainbow Series. I like combining several bracelets together, either of the same set or grouping different sets together to make a BIG statement! lol Here are my latest finished creations that are likely to make very GAY statements. :)

These 2 bracelets (06-1&3) are made from gorgeous little millefiori beads, swarovski crystals, cats eyes & little coloured crystal spacer wheels. They are $40 each incl p&p.

These 2 bracelets are a bit similar to the previous ones, being made with the same beads except they are only 2 loops. They are $30 each incl p&p.

The Autumn Series has some really great colours in it too. I found a variety of interesting beads for these bracelets including rumbled breach stones, agate, tibetan silver, shiny metallic pearls, silver maple leaf charms & butterflies.
This bracelet set is $45 for the set incl p&p.
This size 7 stretchy bracelet is $15 incl p&p. More photos in the web album. This small wrist sized bracelet is the only one of these left. Most suited to a female child.
Here is a very different Autumn colouration & it's just $12 incl p&p as it is the last one.
This 3 piece set is $15 incl p&p & is the last one. more photos in the album.
This 3 piece set is $20 incl p&p & is the last set remaining. more photos in the album.

I'm really pleased with how this gorgeous twisted pearl & shell multi strand bracelet came out. It's a prototype as I'm not sure how much the pearls that are still on order will be. Most likely it will be about $25. Sold out.
